Bricks & Sticks

Building
hope…
Since
1997,
Habitat for Humanity of Winchester-Frederick County has helped make home
ownership a possibility for 28 families in our community.
Our
strategic plan calls for the completion of our first home in Clarke County
in the village of Millwood and seven more homes by June 2008.
Just as
our house production has increased so has our staff. We have grown from a
small one-room office located in the First Baptist Church for the first six
years of affiliation, to occupying a larger office on Route 7 over the last
2 years, but we still have additional staff working from their home.
Habitat
for Humanity is asking for your generous one time contribution to the
Bricks and Sticks
Campaign that will allow our
affiliate to renovate a historic stone building located in a neighborhood of
many of our Habitat houses. This will provide the affiliate with
administrative offices and a warehouse facility, allowing us to have a
long-term home of our own as well as, operate programs efficiently and
launch new construction projects that will benefit the entire region.
In conjunction with the renovation of the historic stone building that is
located at
145 Baker St. Winchester VAHabitat
for Humanity of Winchester-Frederick County is constructing a brick walkway
to honor and remember our community friends and partners.
