Core Qualifications for a Habitat House

1. Live in Winchester-Frederick for at least one year.
2. Need to improve current housing situation (poor plumbing, heating, overcrowding, can't afford, etc.)
3. Earn between 30%-60% of the median income (see below).
4. Be willing to partner with Habitat by completing sweat equity.

• Call Habitat at 662-7066 for a pre-application screening. If you pre-qualify, you will be mailed an application. You may also schedule an appointment for assistance in completing your application.
• Information requested on the application includes
  • A Credit Report from Transunion, Experian or Equifax. A free copy of your credit report may be obtained at www.annualcreditreport.com or by calling 1-877-322-8228.
  • Names and addresses of three people that can provide a personal statement about you.
  • Provide proof of income by submitting copies of pay stubs, Social Security statement, Disability statement and proof of any other social services you may be receiving.
